According to the Portuguese newspaper Record, Inter and the English side, Everton are at the front of the queue to sign William Carvalho.
They are closely followed by a long list of teams, including West Ham, Wolverhampton, Monaco, Arsenal, Milan, Manchester United, Atletico Madrid, Olympique Marseille and even Sporting’s great rivals, Porto.
The player is looking to terminate his contract with immediate effect following a training ground attack from the club’s ultras. This would enable the Portuguese international (currently representing his national at the FIFA World Cup) to join a new side for free in what could well be one of the bargains of the summer.
Carvalho brings a wealth of experience having made close to 200 appearances for the Lisbon club while representing his side in the Champions League, Europa League as well as Liga NOS. He was also a part of the Portugal side which won the 2016 European Championships.
