Inter and Sassuolo have all but agreed terms for the transfer of Italian winger Matteo Politano from the Neroverdi to the Nerazzurri according to Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
According to the report, the two clubs have found an agreement in principle for Matteo Politano after the positive meeting between his agent and Inter’s representatives earlier today. The two clubs have agreed that Politano will go to Inter on loan for a fee set at €7 million with an option to make the deal permanent set at €20 million.
Sassuolo will in turn get two Primavera players, the first being Danosh striker Odgaard who Neroverdi coach De Zerbi wants to include in the first team immediately as well as striker Andrea Adorante, born in 2000. The combined value of the two players is set at €7 million which means that the loan wont cost Inter anything in practice.
Di Marzio reports further that Odgaard will arrive in Italy tomorrow to finalize his contract with Sassuolo after which Politano will complete his move in the opposite direction when undergoing his medical examinations on Saturday.
