Milan’s year-long ban from European competitions could be a blessing in disguise for Inter’s bid to land Suso from their Rossoneri cousins Corriere dello Sport suggest.

Milan could well be forced in to giving up an important player for budgetary reasons as a result of their ban which was confirmed yesterday by UEFA.

Milan’s sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli would far rather sell the Spaniard, who has a €40 million release clause in his contract exclusively for foreign clubs, abroad but may have no option but to deal him to Inter, who are in talks with Suso’s agent Alessandro Lucci over a transfer and have been for the past few weeks.

The Roman based newspaper however go on to state that if the Nerazzurri want to add the former Liverpool man to their ranks alongside Sassuolo’s Matteo Politano, they will have to move one of Yann Karamoh or Antonio Candreva on to make room.
