Nainggolan: “Very Happy To Be At Inter, I Want To Win Things”

Radja Nainggolan spoke with Inter TV ahead of his official unveiling as an Inter player and shared his delight about joining the Nerazzurri among other things.

“I’m very happy. I was very well received by the fans and the important thing is to feel at home right away and in this case it’s just like that. I hope to have a good game on my debut at San Siro. How will I celebrate my first goal? I will think about it, I hope it will come soon but it is not an obsession of mine. The results of the team are what counts, it does not matter who scores. I am a winner, I have not yet won anything but I will try to win as soon as possible. I will try to induce the squad with my mentality.”

The 30-year-old midfielder then went on to discuss who from Inter has impressed him most when he has faced them recently and his new number, number 14.

“As an opponent, the player who impressed me the most is Ivan Perisic, apart from Mauro Icardi who always scores, he makes the difference.

“My usual number is 4, but it is retired so I took 14 instead. I hope to be able to represent it well.”

Nainggolan, who has signed a four-year contract with the club then spoke on manager Luciano Spalletti, who he is reunited with having worked with him previously at Roma.

“I hope to repeat the beautiful season in Rome under him. It is important to feel the confidence of the coach and have a good relationship with him, I hope to achieve results with him.”
