According to reports from Ghanaian broadcast CitiTV yesterday, the future of Alfred Duncan will in fact probably be far away from Sassuolo.
The midfielder spoke to a broadcaster stating: “I have had three good seasons at Sassuolo but I think it’s time to move on. I communicated my decision to the team and they understood my position perfectly; now it’s about waiting for the right offer.”
The 25 year-old midfielder had been approached by several clubs over the past few days. In Turkey, Galatasaray seem to be on his tracks. In Serie A, in addition to the rumours suggest he is in Milan and Roma’s sights, there was talk of a possible return to Inter – which has since faded – in the deal with Sassuolo which included attacker Matteo Politano.
To conclude, it was reported that the ‘Nerazzurri’ have secured the Italian international Matteo Politano for an initial one-year loan deal with an option to buy afterwards. The Sassuolo attacker made a total of 39 appearances last season collecting 11 goals and 5 assists in all competition.
