Empoli have sparked an interest in Inter youngster Andrea Pinamonti as per a report from Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The Tuscan club have identified the 19-year-old as a possible addition with current striker Alfredo Donnarumma all set for a transfer to Brescia.
Pinamonti has struggled to break in to the first team despite being prolific at several youth levels for the Nerazzurri in recent years due to being behind club captain Mauro Icardi in the first team pecking order. At the newly promoted Azzurri, he would have a very high chance of being the starting striker which in turn would help him on his way to realising his potential.
The report does not state however how Empoli wish to acquire him but in the event of an outright sale, Inter will almost certainly insist on a buy back clause or large sell on % fee at the very least.
