Inter’s move for Malcom is currently on standby while sporting director Piero Ausilio searches for the best solution to land him as per a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Malcom is understood to be Inter’s number one target for the wing now as they look to reinforce their squad in preparation for participating in the Champions League next term.

Federico Pastorello, an intermediary in the deal, has already laid the foundations for a deal between the Nerazzurri and Bordeaux, the Rome based newspaper go on to report.

Bordeaux are looking for around €40 million for the 21-year-old Brazilian starlet all in and Inter initially offered an €8 million loan fee with a €32 million redemption option. With Barcelona and Valencia both now interested in the former Corinthians player, Ausilio could be forced in to upping the offer to perhaps €15 million loan fee and a €25 million redemption option in order to not miss out.
