Malcom has started his pre-season preparations with Bordeaux, a day later than planned, and Les Girondins are hopeful that he will be joining them on their pre-season retreat to Vichy amid ongoing links to Inter.
The 21-year-old Brazilian starlet is understood to be Inter’s priority for the wing for the transfer window but the two clubs are some way apart when it comes to striking a deal. Bordeaux want €40 million for Malcom but Inter are unwilling to pay that fee upfront and would rather sign him on loan with a redemption option, which would total the €40 million they are after.
Malcom joined the French outfit back in 2016 from Corinthians and following a series of exciting displays, he has alerted a number of clubs across Europe across Inter. Premier League duo Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool as well as Spanish pair Valencia and Barcelona have all also come in to links with him.
