Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti was questioned on the sensational reports circulating suggesting multi-time world player of the year Cristiano Ronaldo could be headed to Juventus.
“Sincerely, as vice president of Inter, it is something that does not concern me,” Zanetti said.
“In Ronaldo we are talking about a great player who would do good for Italian football. I am not of course sure if he wants to leave Real Madrid or not but maybe he wants another adventure, in another league, let us see what happens.”
The Portuguese international, 33, hinted at wanting to leave Los Blancos after their third successive Champions League win in May but with an absolutely gigantic release clause to his name and three years still left on his contract with the Santiago Bernabeu club, Juventus may find it difficult to prize him away from Spain, where he has been since 2009 following a then world record 80 million transfer from Manchester United.
