Inter and Premier League club Arsenal are to rival Valencia for the signature of Paris Saint Germain attacker Goncalo Guedes according to a report from Spanish news outlet Cadena Cope.

The Portuguese international, who featured in all four of his country’s games at the World Cup, spent last season on loan with Valencia and it is understood that both parties share the mutual desire to continue with one another. PSG are commanding a €40 million fee to sell Guedes, who they signed for around €30 million from Benfica back in 2016, to Valencia but things are currently in a stalemate which has allowed Inter and Arsenal to enter the race.

The report goes on to state that Arsenal have enquired to PSG about the availability of the 21-year-old but with Guedes seemingly seeking a move to a club where he can play Champions League football next term, it places the Nerazzurri ahead of the London club in this respect.
