Goncalo Guedes emerged as a new name for Inter’s transfer window yesterday but according to Spanish reports, acquiring the Portuguese will be difficult.
Guedes spent last season on loan with Valencia and wishes to permanently move to the Mestalla stadium and shares this desire with Valencia themselves who are looking to pull this deal off according to a report from SuperDeporte. The 21-year-old winger starred while on loan with Els Taronges scoring six goals and providing 11 assists in 38 games across all competitions, which helped Valencia to secure a fourth place finish in La Liga and a return to Champions League football for the first time in a number of years.
Paris Saint Germain, who Guedes is under contract with for a further three years until the end of the 2020/21 season, are no longer in a rush to sell him however due in part to the €20 million sale of Yuri Berchiche to Atletico Bilbao which greatly helped their financial fair play situation.
