Inter will be forced to hold off from making a move for Mousa Dembele until his participation at the World Cup is over according to a report from Tuttosport.

The 30-year-old midfielder’s future is all but certain to be away from Spurs but he will not make a decision until after the World Cup. The decision could come as early as Friday if Belgium are to be knocked out at the quarter-final stage by pre-tournament favourites Brazil.

The Chinese transfer window, which shuts in nine days time, is something else that Inter are keeping a close eye on. There is alleged interest from China and Dembele is believed to be interested in a switch to the East but no offer has been forthcoming.

Tuttosport go on to state that Inter have in fact proposed a contract to Dembele that would include a subsequent transfer to their cousins Jiangsu Suning in a few years time after playing at Inter.
