Il Giorno suggest that Inter could make a move for Rafinha if another midfielder is to leave the club this transfer window.

The Brazilian spent the second half of last season on loan with the Nerazzurri but despite showing a strong desire to remain, Inter did not take up their option to keep him at the club on a permanent basis due to financial fair play reasons.

Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino has been linked with a switch to Chelsea to work under former manager Maurizio Sarri who is set to assume his position on the bench for the blues in the coming days. A €35 million fee has been raised in the media and would go a long way in helping Inter to go after Rafinha again if they do not decide to re-invest the money elsewhere, with right back a position that they still need to significantly strengthen more so than midfield.
