On tthe sidelines of the presentation of Inter’s newest signing, Matteo Politano, Davide Lucci, the former Sassuolo player’s agent, spoke to the present reporters.
“Inter wanted him so much, but they were not the only big club after him. Matteo was in America, every day he called from there and asked me if there were any news: he was super agitated, then he read the newspapers. He could not wait to get there, then when I told him that we had found the agreement with Sassuolo he was overjoyed, and he immediately returned from his honeymoon. He left Los Angeles, arrived at 2am and did not even go home: he landed in Rome and, without even changing, he came directly to Milan. He is very emotional and for me he is super gratifying, he is a player who has taken the right steps, he has arrived at a great team with the right awareness of his own means. He is a hard worker and I think we will have fun, his best gift is his humility.”
