Valencia director Mateu Alemany has confirmed the club’s interest in Inter linked Goncalo Guedes but admitted that there are currently no talks taking place with Paris Saint Germain.

“We can not control the situation because he is a PSG player, with a high price-tag.  I can say that there are no negotiations with PSG at the moment. Last year the scenario was different. He was not playing at PSG and his value was much lower as a result but after his spell here he has been re-evaluated. He is a player that we like, he done great here and we think the best thing for him would be to play at least another year here but it is a complicated situation and we hope a solution can be found by the end of the transfer window,” Alemany told reporters at a press conference.

Guedes played 40 games last term for Els Taronges and helped himself to six goals while providing 11 assists for teammates.
