Inter could rekindle their interest for Sampdoria defender Bartosz Bereszynski as their quest to sign a new right-back continues, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Bereszynski made 31 appearances for the Blucerchiati during the 2017-18 season and represented Poland at this summer’s FIFA World Cup in Russia, being named in Adam Nawalka’s starting XI for their final Group H match against Japan.

Inter are continuing to search for a new right-back following the departure of Joao Cancelo and have begun to think about moving for the defender again, who turns 26 next week, with other names on sporting director Piero Ausilio’s list including Roma’s Alessandro Florenzi and Atletico Madrid’s Sime Vrsaljko.

Were Inter to step up their pursuit of Bereszynski they would look to convince Sampdoria by offering a swap deal with Eder, who struggled for game-time with the Nerazzurri last season and is thought to no longer be part of Luciano Spalletti’s plans.

However Eder could decide to reject a return to the Blucerchiati, having already said no to offers from Villarreal, Valencia, Bologna and Sassuolo.
