Inter are currently taking a breather in the transfer market as they plan their next moves this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri have been extremely active since the start of June and have already secured five new signings for Luciano Spalletti ahead of the start of pre-season training next week – Stefan De Vrij, Kwadwo Asamoah, Lautaro Martinez, Radja Nainggolan and Matteo Politano – along with a series of sales that they were required to carry out in order to satisfy UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations.

With just under six weeks left in the window the club are now taking stock of the situation, before getting back down to business in pursuit of their final few targets.

“There is nothing new to report today,” Gazzetta wrote on Friday. “Inter are waiting for the moment.

“Everything that they had to do quickly has now been done; now they are looking for a right-back and a central midfielder to complete Spalletti’s squad. And perhaps another wide forward, which wouldn’t hurt – however Malcom will only arrive if Inter offload someone else in his position first [Candreva or Karamoh].”
