Inter are planning on making two or three more signing this summer to complete their new-look squad ahead of the 2018-19 season, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri enjoyed an extremely busy June in which they secured five new players for Luciano Spalletti – Stefan De Vrij, Kwadwo Asamoah, Lautaro Martinez, Radja Nainggolan and Matteo Politano – and finalised a series of sales that brought the club in line with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations.

However sporting director Piero Ausilio’s work ahead of the new campaign is far from done, with Inter targeting three more reinforcements before the Italian transfer window shuts on 17 August.

“After several days of well-earned relaxation, following a frantic end to June, Inter are now playing a waiting game in the market,” the Milan-based paper wrote on Saturday.

“The squad still needs two more players, perhaps three, before it can consider itself complete: a right-back (Florenzi, Zappacosta, Darmian, Aleix Vidal and Vrsaljko are all on the list), a central midfielder (Dembele) and perhaps another wide forward (Malcom). But those signings will be made without haste.”
