Inter are unlikely to complete the signing of Bordeaux forward Malcom until the end of the summer transfer window, according to Corriere della Sera.

The Nerazzurri have been pursuing the Brazilian for over a month, with some reports suggesting they are close to reaching an agreement with the Ligue 1 club, but the Milanese publication believes that talks are now on standby after Piero Ausilio secured five signings during the month of June: Stefan De Vrij, Kwadwo Asamoah, Lautaro Martinez, Radja Nainggolan and Matteo Politano.

The club’s biggest two priorities at this moment in time are a right-back – with Vrsaljko, Florenzi, Darmian, Zappacosta and Aleix Vidal all on the list – and a central midfielder, with Tottenham’s Mousa Dembele known to be their number one target.

Only after those positions are sorted would Inter step up their pursuit of Malcom, and in any case they would need to offload either Antonio Candreva or Yann Karamoh before signing him (in order to make space for him).
