Gazzetta dello Sport have compared Inter’s return to pre-season this year with the return to pre-season last year.
“One summer ago, Luciano Spalletti could only count on Daniele Padelli as the only new purchase but today there are five new signings ready for use, four of which are already familiar with Serie A football and its ins and outs.
“The Inter leadership has managed to give their manager the symbol of his technical-tactical work: Radja Nainggolan. That’s why the tone of Lucio’s first words, when they arrive, will certainly be sweeter than those of twelve months ago.”
The Milan based newspaper also go on to report that Spalletti will soon sign a new contract with the Nerazzurri. The official announcement is in the pipeline but it might take until the start of competitive action until Inter chose to announce the extension of Spalletti’s contract with the club that currently has a year left to run on it.
