Inter still have not received an offer from anyone for Mauro Icardi but club officials are well aware that Real Madrid could come in for him in the next few days if Cristiano Ronaldo departs the club for Juventus according to Il Giorno.
Icardi is one of six names Los Blancos are considering replacing Ronaldo with alongside Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Robert Lewandowski, Harry Kane and Eden Hazard. Moreover, Il Giorno suggest that Real could offer Icardi an annual salary of €10 million, if they are to chose him as Ronaldo’s replacement.
Should the 25-year-old leave, Il Giorno report that Alvaro Morata could be the man to replace him up top. The Chelsea forward has made it clear for quite some time that he is unhappy at the London club, who paid €64 million to sign him and could be open to a return to Italy where he has previously played for Juventus.
