Rafinha will begin pre-season preparations with Barcelona this week but has the knowledge that he will not be remaining with the Blaugrana for the coming season.
No offers have arrived for the Brazilian midfielder recently but Tuttosport report that come the end of the transfer window that if the situation remains the same, Barcelona and Inter could sit back around the negotiation table and hold talks over Rafinha possibly returning to the Nerazzurri.
Rafinha spent the second half of last season on loan at the San Siro making a total of 17 appearances across all competitions but despite showing a clear desire to remain, Inter did not take up their option to turn the move permanent for €38 million due to the fact it would have seriously hindered their bid to reach their financial fair play goal. Inter made an attempt to sign the 25-year-old again soon after their option expired but Barcelona knocked the Nerazzurri’s proposal back.
