Odgaard: “I Am Happy With How My Year With Inter Went”

Jens Odgaard has confirmed he is happy with how his year went with Inter following his transfer to Sassuolo, that came about as a result of Inter needing to sacrifice players, mostly young players, for financial fair play reasons.

I could have stayed Inter but I felt I wanted to get back into senior football and play at the highest possible level. I am happy with how my year with the Nerazzurri went,” he revealed to Danish outlet BT.

“I have learned the Italian language and culture and how to be professional in a completely different way from back home. I trained very hard there [at Inter], and did it from day one.”

The same outlet who Odgaard spoke to also confirmed that Lyngby, the club he joined Inter from, pocketed €500,000 from his €5 million transfer to the Neroverdi as a result of a 10% future sale clause inserted in the deal that saw him join the Nerazzurri this time last year.
