Jens Odgaard has confirmed he is happy with how his year went with Inter following his transfer to Sassuolo, that came about as a result of Inter needing to sacrifice players, mostly young players, for financial fair play reasons.
“I could have stayed Inter but I felt I wanted to get back into senior football and play at the highest possible level. I am happy with how my year with the Nerazzurri went,” he revealed to Danish outlet BT.
“I have learned the Italian language and culture and how to be professional in a completely different way from back home. I trained very hard there [at Inter], and did it from day one.”
The same outlet who Odgaard spoke to also confirmed that Lyngby, the club he joined Inter from, pocketed €500,000 from his €5 million transfer to the Neroverdi as a result of a 10% future sale clause inserted in the deal that saw him join the Nerazzurri this time last year.
