Former Inter attacker Roberto Baggio spoke on Inter star Milan Skriniar to Profutbol.sk of Skriniar’s native Slovakia, where Baggio is currently helping football camps in Bratislava.

“Is he more like Paolo Maldini or Alessandro Nesta? It was difficult to deal with both of them and it has to be remembered that they played in another era. Skriniar is technically well structured, and next season he will gain the international experience he needs when playing in the Champions League and I am sure he will show us great things.”

Skriniar joined Inter around this time last year and blew pre-season expectations of him completely out of the water and more and he went on to assert himself as one of not only one of Europe’s best but one of the world’s best defenders in his debut season with the Nerazzurri, where he played every single minute of Inter’s Serie A campaign as they secured their return to the Champions League with a fourth placed finish.
