Inter remain at work on trying to sign both Sime Vrsaljko and Mousa Dembele to shore up the right back and central midfield departments respectively according to a report from Sky Sport.

Inter and Atletico Madrid have been in talks over the Croatian international and are wanting to acquire him on an expensive loan with a right to redemption however the Spanish side are not so keen on this transfer formula and would prefer an outright sale.

As for Dembele, the closing of the Chinese transfer window on Friday could make or break Inter’s move for him. With alleged interest, once the transfer window closes the only obstacle in the way for Inter will then be out of the way if no offer is to arrive. Inter will not be able to acquire Dembele with the same transfer formula as Vrsaljko however due to the fact Dembele has just a year left on his current contract with Spurs.
