Since the 1982 World Cup tournament Inter have had at least one representative on the pitch in every World Cup Final, with the likes of Beppe Bergomi, Jurgen Klinsmann Youri Djorkaeff all lifting the trophy over the last thirty years, but with Miranda and Matias Vecino both losing at the quarter-final stage this year there was only one team in Croatia who could keep that going and they managed it with a 2-1 victory after extra time over England.
Marcelo Brozovic and Ivan Perisic have guaranteed the extension of that lucky streak but only time will tell if they are able to join the list of World Cup winning Inter players.
