Inter will soon face competition in their attempts to sign Bordeaux forward Malcom with Tottenham and Arsenal preparing offers for the player, according to France Football.

Malcom scored 12 goals and provided seven assists in Ligue 1 last season as Bordeaux secured qualification for the UEFA Europa League, and has been in talks with the Nerazzurri over a proposed move since the start of June, with personal terms reportedly agreed several weeks ago.

However the two clubs are yet to reach an agreement over a transfer fee and the Brazilian is now attracting interest from the Premier League, with North London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal both keen on joining the race.

Both are aware that they will need to offer more than the €40 million Inter have offered (in the form of a paid loan with an option to buy) already in order to secure the 20 year-old’s services, but they are thought to be preparing offensives at the moment (the details of which are not specified).

Another club interested in negotiations are Corinthians, the club Bordeaux signed Malcom from in 2016, as they are due 3% of any transfer fee the French club receive.
