Inter coach Luciano Spalletti would like a reinforcement like Zenit St Petersburg’s Argentinian midfielder Leandro Paredes who he coached whilst at Roma Corriere dello Sport reports today.
The Rome based nespaper is convinced of this and sees the Argentinian as a possible reinforcement thereby making him an alternative to Tottenham’s Belgian international midfieler Dembelé stating that “in a midfield where a need only will arise if Chelsea suddenly accelerates for Vecino or if Borja Valero should exit. In any case Paredes finds himself very well with Spalletti and had a great stint with Roma two years ago where he played continuously. The friendly game against Zenit, where Paredes currently plays, on July 21st could be a great opportunity for a contact between the two clubs.
“The Argentinian midfielder prefers to play in a three man midfield, although he has no trouble adapting to other systems. In order to get Paredes, who headed for Russia last summer at the same time as Roberto Mancini, Inter could use the well-known formula of loan with the right to redeem” the newspaper reports.
