The rumor concerning Portuguese midfielder Joao Mario’s transfer to newly promoted Premier Leeague outfit Wolverhampton is now being confirmed by Italian media outlet FcInterNews.

According to the report, Wolverhampton are intensifying their contacts with Inter in order to secure a transfer as soon as possible and are prepared to offer Joao Mario a contract that will make him happy as well as satisfying Inter’s financial demands.

Furthermore, FcInterNews report that Wolverhampton are the third Premier League outfit to inquire into the availability of the Portuguese international. The first, Bournemouth, was rejected by the player himself whilst the second Everton only wanted him on a dry loan, something that the Nerazzurri are not interested in.

In conclusion, FcInterNews state that Joao Mario could still return to Appiano Gentile before a deal is done as the ball is in Wolverhampton’s court meaning that if they wish to conclude the transfer quickly the Wolves need to satisfy Inter’s demands.
