Palermo’s outspoken President Maurizio Zamparini was interviewed by Gazzetta dello Sport on a wide variety of subjects, one of which was his club’s interest in Inter’s Romanian striker George Puscas.

Zamparini was asked whether or not the Rosanero are still interested in the player after his proposed loan deal to the Sicilians collapsed in January to which he replied: “I became angry when I saw that he went to Novara in January, I was not the one who said no to his arrival. I wanted him and Di Carmine, which was one of the reasons behind our decision to let Lupo leave. We will try everything to get him given that we will sell players now.”

George Puscas signed for Inter ahead of the 2014/2015 season and made 7 appearances that season failing to get on the scoresheet and has since then been loaned out to a plethora of clubs with Novara being his last club where he scored 9 goals in 19 matches in the Serie B for the club.
