Rafinha had the opportunity to be interviewed by one of Brazil’s best players of all time, the legend, Zico. In this interview, Rafinha turned back the clock to January – the month in which Inter decided to give him a chance at first team football after missing out due to injuries at Barcelona.
“I knew of Inter’s interest and it ended up being a spectacular experience,” he said. “The fans made me feel incredibly welcomed. Now I’m a Barcelona player though: Inter did not buy me [permanently] and I’m back.”
After a successful spring season with Inter, Rafinha was unable to complete his transfer as negotiations broke down with Barcelona.
For now Rafinha will now have to concentrate on his future in Spain, and maybe in the near future when his contract runs out Inter can make a move in 2020. Rafinha was very interested in a permanent return to Inter but will have to wait another season to do so.
