It has been rumored for quite some time but now it is looking like it will finally become reality as the Croatian contingiency at Inter is looking like it will increase with Atletico Madrid’s Sime Vrsaljko signing for the Nerazzurri.

Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported moments ago that Inter and La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid have agreed terms over the former Sassuolo player. According to the report Inter will loan the player for €6,5 million for one year after which point the Nerazzurri will have the option to sign the player on a permanent basis for a further €17,5 million.

Vrsaljko is no stranger to the Serie A having already spent 3 seasons in Italy, one with Genoa and two with Sassuolo, before joining Atletico Madrid ahead of the 2015/2016 season.

Vrsaljko had an excellent World Cup with compatriots Ivan Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic who together helped Croatia reach the final where they lost 4-2 against France.
