Every single report coming out of Italy today regarding the proposed transfer of Arturo Vidal from Bayern Munich to Inter have all been more or less identical.

All except Sky Sport Italia, whose reporter Luca Marchetti joined the party moments ago confirming that there is a negotiation ongoing between Inter and Bayern Munich that is at an advanced stage regarding the former Juventus man.

Marchetti also confirmed that Inter have the player in the palms of their hands as they already have a deal in place with the player for a transfer worth in total around €18 million where Vidal joins the Nerazzurri on a season long loan at which point there is an option to buy which Inter can choose to exercise.

However, Marchetti also reports that despite having the green light from the player and the player’s club, the Nerazzurri have taken time out to reflect on whether or not to go through with the deal. The reason for this is according to Sky Sport Italia, that Inter are looking to see if there are any players available who have different traits in comparison with Vidal, in order to complete the squad.

In conclusion Sky Sport underlines that this is all being done with the approval of Spalletti and that this moment to reflect has nut sunk the deal at all. A midfielder will surely arrive and the players being discussed are at the same level of Vidal making it an important transfer should it materialize.
