Joao Mario’s tenure at Inter will most likely end before the transfer window closes as neither club nor player wish to continue together. Italian media outlet FcInterNews report that the player’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, is actively hunting for a new club for his client.

According to the report, Joorabchian has proposed Joao Mario to three clubs, namely Tottenham and Lazio as well as West Ham, the club he spent the second part of last season on loan. Unfortunately for Inter and Joao Mario none of these clubs consider the player a priority signing and therefore are inclined to make a loan offer with an option to make the transfer permanent. This is a formula which Inter are not interested in given that the Nerazzurri want to cash in on him and make back some of the reportedly €40 million they spent 2 summers ago.

Joao Mario joined Inter back in the summer of 2016 and has struggled to make an impact.
