Inter currently do not have any offers for midfielders Matias Vecino or Joao Mario as they look to upgrade their midfield ahead of the new season, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Both players have been linked with moves away from the club in recent weeks as the Nerazzurri attempt to raise funds for a new signing in midfield, with sporting director Piero Ausilio currently studying a move for Real Madrid star Luka Modric.
However neither Vecino nor Joao Mario are close to a departure at this moment in time, which could halt the club’s plans to bring in reinforcements for Luciano Spalletti.
Vecino is reportedly one of Chelsea’s transfer targets following the appointment of Maurizio Sarri as head coach, however they have yet to make their move for the player after Inter informed them they would want €40 million to part company with the Uruguayan international.
Joao Mario could leave for far less, with the club willing to let the Portuguese outcast go on loan with an obligation to buy for at least €27 million, but nobody has made such an offer yet.
