Italian pundit Mario Sconcerti has spoken to RMC Sport and was quite critical over the Inter targets, Arturo Vidal and Luca Modric. He believes that Vidal is a second hand signing who cannot be compared to the likes of Modric.
He continues on to say how he believes Luca Modric is not a realistic target for Inter as he sees Real Madrid not being likely to sell after losing Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.
“Vidal is a particular player who has already been in Italy and when one returns it means that he is a second choice player. Vidal can not be compared to Luka Modric, which I can not imagine at Inter. The Croatian is priceless, his market move is not conceivable because Real has already lost Ronaldo” Sconcerti argues
Inter put their transfer talks with Vidal on hold in order to chase Modric. This is a risk Inter have taken as Barcelona jumped in line to try and sign Vidal.
