Several reports from Spain suggest that there is no issue between Real Madrid and Croatian international midfielder Luka Modric, with Marca reporting an exclusive interview with Los Merengues President Florentino Perez where he rules out the transfer.

According to the report, despite Inter’s interest in the player Florentino Perez has no interest in parting ways with the player this summer stating that the situation is completely different than that of Cristiano Ronaldo. Marca have spoken to Real Madrid President Florentino Perez who told them: “The only possibility that Luka Modric leaves is if someone pays us €750 million.”

This statement follows several reports in Spain quoting unnamed sources close to the player or part of his entourage denying that Modric wants to leave the club. Meanwhile Italian reports suggest the complete opposite stating that Inter’s directors have been contacted by Modric’s agents who have informed the Nerazzurri that he wants to leave Madrid.
