Luka Modric remains on his post-World Cup holiday break and is currently holidaying in Italy. The Croatian midfielder has been linked with a sensational transfer to Inter in the past week in what many are dubbing a ‘mission impossible’ for the Nerazzurri to pull off.

Fans recognised the playmaker, currently on the books of back-to-back Champions League winners Real Madrid, and while posing for photos, the fans asked a few questions with regard to the possibility of him switching Madrid for Milan this summer.

According to a report from Rome based publication Corriere dello Sport, the 32-year-old was asked, “Is it true that you want to come to Inter?” and “Would you come to Inter?.” The report goes on to state that the midfielder simply responded to the fans with a smile and nothing more.

Modric is expected to meet with Real Madrid’s President Florentino Perez to discuss his future at Los Blancos in the coming days and things are likely to become a lot clearer after the meeting.
