Turin based publication Tuttosport have rubbished other circulating reports that suggest Lazio are interested in signing Joao Mario from Inter during this transfer window.
Rather than add anymore players to the ranks for the coming season, Lazio sporting director Igli Tare is now working on reducing the numbers in the squad and has already identified seven players who could potentially be moving on before the transfer window slams shut in a few weeks time.
The 25-year-old Portuguese international returned to training with Inter at the beginning of the week but has made it crystal clear in recent weeks that he does not want to be at the club. The Nerazzurri do not appear to be standing in the way of the exit door but as per other reports doing the rounds in the media, they are looking for a fee in and around the €30 million mark to allow him to depart the club.
