Corriere Dello Sport reveals that Inter Manager Luciano Spalletti organised a meal yesterday for all his coaching staff and all staff that work close to the team at Inter’s training ground at Appiano Gentile.

The former Roma and Zenit St. Petersburg manger left no one out as he organised a special dinner including kit men, physiotherapists and even the kitchen staff and chefs. A gesture that didn’t go unnoticed and was gratefully appreciated by everyone which was testimony to the managers’ sensibility and down to earth nature. If the team is to function properly on the pitch then the team behind the scenes that don’t necessarily work under the spotlights, also needs to be acknowledged. Spalletti wanted to show the people behind the scenes that they are important too.

Inter will start their Serie A season away to Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium on the opening day of the season on Sunday 19th August.
