The transfer market in football can turn around very fast, as evidenced by yesterday’s events wherein Chilean international Arturo Vidal one second seemed to be an Inter player and the second later was heading to Spain to join Barcelona.
Now reports from Spain suggest that the La Liga side and the Bayern Munich player have come to a final agreement with regard to personal terms, this according to Spanish and Catalan newspaper Sport.
The 31-year-old will sign a three-year contract that will see him pocket €9 million per season in salary. What is now left for the Catalan club is to find an agreement with Vidal’s current club Bayern Munich in order to make the deal official.
Yesterday when everything seemed to be a done deal with Inter, the Blaugrana quickly turned to the ex-Juventus man after facing difficulty in their pursuit of Adrien Rabiot due to the high demands of Paris Saint Germain. The Chilean will cost Barcelona around €20 million and was requested directly by Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde.
