Former Inter defender Fabio Galante has thanked fans for their messages of support and the club itself following the news that he is to return to the club in the capacity of a scout.

“I have come home and it is a great honour for me. I thank the club for giving me the opportunity to see new players, I hope I can bring many in,” Galante, who played for the Nerazzurri between 1996-1999 revealed in an interview with TgCom24.

Galante then spoke on the business that Inter have carried out in the transfer market thus far that has seen seven new faces arrive including Radja Nainggolan from Roma.

“The fact that Inter have returned to signing strong players is a good sign. I hope Inter can get back to winning something and the fact that there are a lot of national team players here means they can do well,” he concluded.
