In recent years Inter have opened up academies across the world as they look to find the next big star and they may well have just found one in Kaua Souza da Silva, a 12-year-old midfielder from their Brazilian academy who has already been likened to former Inter protege Phillipe Coutinho, who is now starring for Spanish giants Barcelona.
Brazilian news outlet UOL Esporte report that some of Brazil’s big clubs have taken note of the youngster and claim that Sao Paulo and Atletico PR are both keen on signing him up. Kaua already trains with Sao Paulo two times a week and Atletico PR have proposed a week long trial.
However, the report goes on to state that Inter have no interest in allowing him to go anywhere else and intend to keep him within their Brazilian academy until he is old enough to make the move to Italy.
