Between Wednesday and Thursday, Inter target Luka Modric will sit down with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to discuss his future at the club a report from transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio states.

Modric’s intentions are clear, he wants to leave Los Blancos after years of unprecedented success with the club, particularly on the European stage and Inter are confident, based on the signals they have received from his representatives, that a deal can be done and they can add to their Croatian contingent at the club.

Until the meeting takes place Inter can only sit and wait around but are totally prepared to make a move when the opportunity presents itself afterwards.

The 32-year-old still has a further two years to run on his contract with Los Blancos and recent reports have suggested that Inter are ready to offer him a four year contract to swap Madrid for Milan.
