Luka Modric could spend the next four years of his career at Inter before calling it a day in China with Inter’s Chinese cousins Jiangsu Suning a report from Corriere dello Sport suggests.

Inter officials have been at work on creating an interesting offer to send Real Madrid’s way in return for the 32-year-old Croatian who would be allowed to play out the last of his better years with the Nerazzurri before winding down with Jiangsu, who, as per the report, would assist Inter in paying his monster €10 million per season salary similarly to how Juventus are getting help to fund Cristiano Ronaldo’s wages from a sponsor.

Modric-Inter erupted in mid-July but the Rome based news outlet suggest the move had been kept secret for some time due to the fact a lot of number crunching had to be done to ensure a move was plausible.

Corriere dello Sport also report that for the time being Inter are not interested in thinking about alternatives to him or reinforcing the team in any other areas.
