An offer from an unnamed club has arrived on the table for highly coveted midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

The Serbian midfielder’s agents Mateja Kezman and Uros Jankovic met with Lazio sporting director Igli Tare earlier today and presented him with the proposal. The report from the Rome based publication suggests that Spanish giants Real Madrid are the most likely candidate to be behind the proposal which could have a direct impact on Inter’s bid to land Luka Modric from Los Blancos.

With that being said, the 23-year-old has also drawn links to the Nerazzurri but it is highly unlikely that Lazio would be willing to sell Milinkovic-Savic to the San Siro club, mainly due to the fact Inter will not be able to pay the upfront fee that Lazio are understood to be after rather than a loan with redemption option or obligation, the formula Inter have been working with for the most part this window.
