Having made a failed attempt to land Andrea Favilli from Juventus, Udinese have returned to courting Inter youngster Andrea Pinamonti according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Udinese have made contact with the 19-year-old striker’s representatives with regards to a move and the Milan based publication understand that Inter will not entertain any outright sale of the Italian youth international that does not include a buy back option.

The Bianconeri have courted Genoa’s Gianluca Lapadula and Sampdoria’s Fabio Quagliarella but due to Lapadula’s price tag and Quagliarella looking set to sign a new contract with La Samp, Pinamonti has jumped ahead of both of them in the eyes of the Stadio Friuli club.

Pinamonti is a product of the Inter youth academy and while he has been prolific at various youth levels for the Nerazzurri he has not been afforded many opportunities to impress for the first team due to being behind Mauro Icardi and now Lautaro Martinez in the pecking order.
