Last night a meal took place between between some of the major players involved in what could be one of the biggest transfers of the summer. At one side of the table sat the Inter duo of Sporting Director Piero Ausilio and Manager Luciano Spalletti. On the other side there was Beppe Riso.

Riso is an intermediary agent involved in the possible deal that would see Luka Modric swap Madrid for Milan in a move from Real to Inter this summer. It has been reported by Mediaset that he was in Milan for the meeting and then flew back directly to Madrid to meet with the players’ agent, Vlado Lemic, who is in anticipation of the much talked about meeting that has yet to take place between Modric and the the Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez.

Inter can only sit by and wait for a response from Madrid and hope that it is a positive one for them.
