Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is expected to play a part in tomorrow night’s final pre-season game against Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

The Croatian, who returned some three days ahead of schedule at training, will be on the plane headed for the Spanish capital this afternoon, having shown himself to be in excellent physical condition upon his return despite a lack of pre-season training behind him.

Defender Miranda will also be on the flight but three players who will not travel are Ivan Perisic, Sime Vrsaljko and Radja Nainggolan. The trio will remain at Appiano Gentile with some of the coaches while the rest of the squad are in Spain and the Croatian pair will undergo all the standard pre-season testing while Nainggolan continues to recover from a thigh injury sustained against Sion in a friendly in mid-July that could see him miss Inter’s season opener with Sassuolo next week.
