Inter’s owners Suning are affirming their commitment both to the Nerazzurri and growing their own brand within Italy by opening an Italian office a report from RadioCor states.

RadioCor’s report goes on to state that Suning’s decision to launch an office on the Italian peninsula is down to wanting “marketing and business development.”

In addition to this, the report says that Steven Zhang, son of Suning president and owner Jindong, will act as the legal representative and plenipotentiary for the office.

Suning took control of Inter in the summer of 2016 purchasing a majority stake in the club from Indonesian tycoon Erick Thohir, who remains as president of the club. Since assuming control, Suning have invested hundreds of million to benefit Inter and also secured several important sponsorship’s to further strengthen the Inter brand across the globe, particularly in their native China where they own another football club in Jiangsu Suning.
